Iguazu Falls, Beauty Separates of Brazil and Argentina
Iguazu Falls located Nowhere fell on the banks of the Paraná Plateau, the upper 23 kilometers (14 miles) from the Confluence of Iguazu Falls with the Paraná River. Many of the islands along the 2.7-kilometer (1.7 mile) long side of the divide falls to around 275 separate waterfalls and cataracts, varying between 60 meters (200 feet) and 82 meters (269 feet) high. About half of the river falls into the long and narrow ravine called Devil’s Throat (Garganta del Diablo in Spanish or Garganta do Diabo in Portuguese). The Devil’s Throat is a U-shaped, 82-meter-tall, 150-meter-wide, and 700 meters long. The border between Argentina and Brazil walked through the Devil’s throat. Argentina side consists of three parts: the upper falls, the lower falls, and Throat Devil.

It is possible to see the Iguazu falls and the Surrounding area in a lightning trip but it’s better to plan at least two days. The view from the Brazilian side is the most panoramic and there are helicopter rides over the falls from Foz do Iguacu. You also take in May rose a boat to the waterfall. The light is the best in the morning for photos.
Here are some photos of Iguazu Falls:
Iguazú Falls
Iguazu Falls is undoubtedly the most visited place in Misiones and one of the most imposing natural attractions in Argentina, and why not in South America...

Best pics
Santiago-city with 1/2 of Chile's population
Punta Arenas- southern most city in world on the Magellan straights
Puerto Natales- gateway to the famous Torre del Paine National Park
Valdivia, Osorno- in the lakes region
La Serena- resort city on the beach
I then went on to Buenos Aires and Iguazu Falls. In total, it was 10 hotels, 14 flights, and a whopping 18,000 miles! This is about 85% of the circumference of earth. The highlights were the lakes region of Chile, Torre del Paine, the soccer match in Buenos Aires, and Iguazu Falls.
Stay tuned for the next blog when I go to Antartica in Janurary....
